It takes a little imagination to understand exactly what the Plasencia family wanted to achieve with this blend. According to the mission statement, this is the kind of cigar Europeans might have smoked when tobacco was discovered in the New World more than five centuries ago. It's a matter of conjecture, but I'd like to think it's a more sophisticated product than the Spanish colonies experienced.
