The Montecristo Especial No.2 is a Habano Cuban cigar that is an elegant and impressive cigar. It is a Churchill-sized cigar that measures 152 mm with a ring gauge of 38. The wrapper of this cigar is an oily and dark Cuban-seed Habano that has been aged for five years. Upon inspection, the wrapper is veined, slightly bumpy but smooth and silky to the touch. The construction is very solid and the draw is easy and ample. The pre-light aroma is a mix of earth, hay and sweet tobacco.

The Especial No.2 offers a full-bodied smoke with strong earth and pepper flavors. It also has notes of sweet cocoa, wood, nuts and leather. With each puff, the flavors become more and more intense and the aromas become even more fragrant. As the burn progresses, the sweetness of the cocoa and the spiciness of the pepper become more prominent. The finish is long and lingering with a pleasant aftertaste.

Overall, the Montecristo Especial No.2 is an excellent Habano Cuban cigar that offers a complex and full-bodied smoke.
